The New Lime was one of the most popular rock and roll "boy bands" in Greater Cincinnati for a full decade, from 1962 until 1972. The five-piece group played sock hops and CYO dances throughout the tri-state area, and were the featured cover band at Shad and Mike's Drink and Drowns and regularly performed at Moonlight Gardens before thousands of teenagers. Disc jockey Shad O'Shea produced several records for the band, and they had Top 40 hits in 1965 and 1967, and signed a recording contract with Columbia Records. Drummer Mickey Foellger and Keyboardist/Singer Ed Wilbers have reunited to play the same great classic rock songs, the most danceable tunes with that infectious beat of the 1960's. Joining Mickey and Eddie for over a decade are guitarists/singer Steve Brun, and bassist Steve Ellerman.
